Ride for Hope Day 14

Day 14 - A LITTLE HELP FROM A NEW FRIEND!

Started at Yorba Linda Regional. No sun but at least it wasn’t raining, at least not until the turn around and then it was pouring1

Met Brian on the bike trail who was kind enough to ride with me. We couldn’t draft off each other because the spray from the rain made it more wet than just the rain. But sometimes, like in life, the emotional support of having someone to talk to along the way is just as important as the physical help. A little behind on his miles due to weather and work, thanks to Brian he was able to log just under 50 miles (47.34) today. In spite of the weather, he ended week two with a total of 533.04! He’s a little behind where he wants to be but still well within reaching his 1,200 mile goal.

Thanks for Brian for his encouragement and support. Just goes to show the effect we can have on the lives of others even when we don’t know them!

Blessed by a stranger!
