KHERUT has had some exciting news recently… not only was our nonprofit 501(c)(3) status approved, but we have an event on Sunday, October 20th!
We are so close to funding our first food truck and hiring our first human trafficking survivors, and we are hoping to cross that goal line at this event:
Our theme is “A Night of Hope” because what these women need is hope.
Most human trafficked survivors, especially those who are sex trafficked, have no job skills. This makes creating an independent life after being rescued almost impossible.
That’s where you and I come in with KHERUT. We will be employing survivors. Using our founder’s 30 years of experience running restaurants, we will be giving these women training in transferable jobs skills from food preparation and menu selection, to marketing, social media, customer service, and even HR. Our mission is to show them how to run a business and create a launch pad into the career of their choice—at KHERUT or elsewhere.
Come join us for a fun night as Yves’ Restuarant and Wine Bar is transformed into a banquet hall, with 7 round tables, each seating 10.
To start the evening off, you’ll be greeted with champagne and hand-passed hors d’oeuvres, and we’ll have a fun with an auction led by renowned auctioneer Jim Nye, and you won’t want to miss out on the Wine Grab!
We are limited to 70 seats…
See you there!
