JODY MASQUEFA

Director of Operations

Jody Masquėfa has enjoyed a successful career for over 30 years in administration and human resources related to both the restaurant industry, corporate and non-profit worlds. She worked for five years for the largest Health & Human Services federally funded non-profit organization in the US as well the non-profit, NorthEast of the Well.   Jody shares Yves’ compassionate heart to serve the disadvantaged and disenfranchised both here in the US and globally, and they share a mutual passion and vision for KHERUT.

YVES MASQUEFA

Executive Director

Yves has enjoyed a successful career for more than 40 years in the restaurant industry. He began working when he was fourteen years old as a busboy and has literally worked his way through every position in a restaurant. Since then he has excelled in the industry, having owned his own establishment for 30 years. Yves is an excellent cyclist and enjoys the competitive nature and extreme physical challenges of the sport. Yves’ passion is in serving others, and his vision is the driving force behind KHERUT.

NICK WILLIAMS

Corporate Management

Nick Williams has over 40 years of corporate and self-employment management experience. He has also served as an officer and board member on several non-profit organizations in recent years.

Executive Director

Debbie Williams is a professional musician and music therapist. She has been an active volunteer for years in various nonprofit organizations.

JON MILLER

Executive Director

Jon brings 30 years of experience in menu and restaurant equipment innovation as well as10 years as an Adjunct Professor of Marketing. Jon jumped at the chance to join KHERUT, because its mission and vital role providing training, experience, and a path to economic self-sufficiency for survivors. Jon is excited to have an opportunity to give back with the experience and influence he has accumulated over his career.

DEMETRIA MOORE

REALTOR® 

Demetria brings 25 plus years expertise as a REALTOR® for the past 10 years and experience as a sales director and manager. Growing up in a domestic violence environment and barely surviving a horrific family tragedy, women's empowerment is a priority in her life. Demetria knows that working at KHERUT is God’s way of showing her why she survived and is still alive today.

JANA MITCHELL

Administrative Assistant

Jana is a wife, adoptive mother, and longtime advocate of children. She was an Executive Assistant in the Title Insurance industry. Jana volunteers in children’s ministries, the homeless, and more. The issue of sex trafficking has weighed on her heart for years, especially upon learning its impact upon children in the foster care system. Jana has known Yves for nearly 30 years and was excited to join the team as his admin assistant.

ROBERT CURTIS

Board Member

Bob has over 30 years of executive level experience and has held positions of Founder, CEO, COO, EVP of Sales-Marketing-OPS. He has both started and participated in 12 startups and has consulted with dozens of new and turn-around companies. Bob has enjoyed multiple exits, including a $1 billion and a $60 million exit. He experience includes writing and executing business plans, building financial models, scaling growth, partnerships, staffing, and reorganizations. Bob has significant experience in raising capital for both non-profit and for-profit companies.
