Introducing Workforce Power Skills with Santa Ana College:

In collaboration with Santa Ana College, we are honored and excited to announce a VBUS 402: Workforce Power Skills course, a training course tailored to marginalized women. This will help to ensure each woman who joins this course will be equipped with essential tools to re-enter or strengthen her position in today’s workforce and thrive!

Activities within the course includes:

• Learning to navigate Canvas, Zoom, and safe online presence. 

• Helping to build adaptability, resilience, and problem solving skills and confidence with real life scenarios to prepare women for the workforce. 

• Creating standout resumes that highlight transferable skills. 

• Practice/mock interviews that have different strategies to ace a job interview. 

Our flexible evening remote or in person schedule is thoughtfully planned and created for accessibility and for building community, self confidence, and competence across barriers faced by survivors and underserved women.
